Everyday Financial Traps- This seminar will bring awareness of how millions of families rely on check-cashing companies, money orders and payday loans to handle basic financial needs -- costly services that can undermine tight household budgets.

Budgeting and Money Management: Our skill building seminars and individualized financial assistance will help our participants eliminate these costly elements out of their everyday lives. Our seminars and one on one financial mentoring explore how to handle paying bills with limited resources, establishing credit, checking accounts, writing checks, deposits, and withdrawals, balancing a checkbook, and establishing priorities.

Application Assistance- Our experienced financial assistance volunteers will teach participants how to fill out a credit card application, bank loan applications, mortgage loan applications, student loan applications.
